Femina Miss India 2010 Finalists Celebrate Easter
No, this isn’t an on-the-sets of Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s next film, this is the eminent Bollywood filmmaker in a lively interaction with 18 beautiful participants of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2010 contest.
It happened at Novotel Hotel, Juhu, amidst much laughter with the Vipul on the mat. One girl observed, “In your films, the actresses are often former Miss Indias like Aishwarya, Priyanka, Sushmita and Neha.” Vipul was impressed. Another girl asked the filmmaker how had Bollywood changed his life. Replied Vipul with a chuckle, “I was extremely short-tempered during my early years. Experience taught me patience. My wife Shefali has contributed to this. I do not scream and yell when the film set, lights, actors and dates go haywire.”
He thought the Miss India pageant was like a superb finishing school. Pointing out that nobody bothers to groom a fresher these days — especially in Bollywood where the competition was fierce, Vipul encouraged the girls to make the most of this time.
