Katy Perry has insisted that her recent marriage to Russell Brand has helped to make her life feel more complete.
The 'Firework' singer told Access Hollywood that getting married has changed the nature of her and Brand's relationship.
"I think everybody feels different after they're married. I think they feel completion," she said. "I feel good. I feel stress-free."
Perry added that both she and her husband plan to be more private about the details of their personal lives now that they have wed.
The star explained: "I made a promise to [him] and he made a promise to me and we have to keep that promise. That's one of the things that we keep private - our relationship. We've just kind of taken a step back because we put so much of ourselves out there professionally."
A source close to the pair recently suggested that Brand and Perry will try for a baby within the next year.
