Says actor Vidya Balan on the role that she would want to see the US president play, “It would be a pick out of three...I’d love to see him play Amitabh Bachchan’s character in Paa for sure. It’s a challenge, but I’m sure he’d be up to it. I also see him fit the bill as Shah Rukh’s inspiring role in Chak De and also that of a helpless romantic as Naseeruddin Shah was in Ishqiya,” she says.
Although the actor will not be able to meet the Prez,she says she would have gifted him a Lucknowi kurta in white or a Sabyasachi achkan in black and a packet of sparklers. “I think he can carry off that look with ease.” If given a chance, where would the pretty actor want to take him in the city? “Well, I’d want to give him a slice of Mumbai in that one evening. And there’s no better way to get the flavour of the city than a drive down Marine Drive,” she says.
